The Cams Hill Science Consortium works as a genuine partnership and so our ideas and resources and are constantly evolving.
We would like to acknowledge and thank all of the following teachers who have worked with us over recent years
Our action research programmes offer individual teachers a series of meetings, workshops and in-school support over an 18 month to 2 year time scale. Teachers are guided in how to apply our methodology and provided with resources to conduct their own case studies, targeting specific issues affecting pupil progression in science within their schools. Working in partnership we regularly monitor the ongoing progress of each project and evaluate its impact upon learning and teaching in the different primary and secondary schools.
All of us involved with the CHSC are particulary grateful to the AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust and Gatsby Technical Education Projects for their kind sponsorship of various projects and funding for our action research over the years. We would also like to thank David Wilmot (Headteacher) and the Governors of Cams Hill School for their continued support and encouragement which has allowed the Cams Hill Science Consortium to expand and develop as we have over the years.
